Minimum System Requirements
- Pentium III 850 MHz (Pentium IV, 1.8 GHz or greater recommended) (Intel Celeron; AMD K5, K6, and Duron "Spitfire" CPU's are NOT recommended.)
- 128 MB RAM (512 MB RAM recommended)
- CD ROM drive on each PC or accessible through a network
- Laser Printer (Hewlett Packard preferred)
- Available disk space: 200 MB (20% of total hard drive space should be kept free (with up to 2+ GB free for drives larger than 10GB)
- Microsoft Office 2000 with Service Release 2 (must have Microsoft Word), Microsoft Office XP is recommended)
- Internet Access and E-Mail capability on each PC
- Video Display Adaptor with 800 X 600 resolution & 256 colors
Supported Operating Systems for Servers and Workstations
- Windows 95 is NOT Supported
- Windows 98 and ME are NOT Recommended
- Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 6 required!) and Not Recommended!
- Windows 2000
- Windows XP ( * Recommended * )
Recommended Network
Network should be a TCP/IP 100BASE-T Fast Ethernet configuration or better. Network cable should be CAT5, CAT5E, or better. Any Switches, Routers, and Bridges should be rated at a 100Mbps or faster. Hubs are NOT recommended!
Network Server
Windows NT4, 2000, or XP recommended. A Windows 98 SE PC can be used as a File Server for a small network of 2 or 3 workstations. The computer performing as a File Server should NOT be used as a workstation, this will degrade performance drastically with possible data loss and/or data corruption.
